 Window screen, also called insect screen can diffuse solar radiation, reducing heat gain in the summer. Plastic window screen can be used. For applications requiring greater strength, such as screened doors, nylon, and polyester screening is also available. Its primary purpose is to keep insects, leaves, debris, birds, and other animals from entering a building or a screened structure such as a porch, while permitting fresh air-flow. The window screen to deny mosquitos called mosquito screen, where the one for denying flies would be named as fly screen.
